Tools For Schools

Giving students the tools they need to build the lives they deserve

Started by members of Woodmont, Nashville Tools for Schools is a blossoming volunteer organization that performs small maintenance or construction projects in the Metro Nashville Public Schools. Volunteers from NTFS meet almost daily to do a variety of projects, ranging from carpentry to painting, renovation to rebuilding. To date, Tools for Schools has built over one hundred computer desks from plywood to finished product, installed shelving in at least five schools, and built lockers in three high schools. All to give our students the best education possible.
